Most commercial cat food brands comes as;
Kitten food comes with special nutrition for growth – for 2 -12 months age.
Adult food – for cats above 12 months age.
If you have a recently queened pet ( cats giving birth to youngones is termed queening 😇), choose mother and kitten food . It can be given to mother upto 2 months after delivery. Kittens can be fed the same food from one month age (upto 2 months age).
Too small kittens ( less than one month) shall be fed mother’s milk. In case, you have them without their mother (for some reason), milk replacer food is available.

Persian food- for Persian cat considering long hair and more adult weight
Cat food comes in different flavour like ocean fish, Salmon, chicken, tuna and many more. You can choose one that your pet likes the most.
There are therapeutic diets also available specially formulated for different health conditions like diabetic diet, renal diet, gastrointestinal diet, recovery diet and so on.
Most important: cat foods will have a daily requirement chart on the packet which shows how much to feed them depending on their age/ weight. The ration given is one day’s requirement. Please go through that too. Take care not to over feed them
